Devious Journal Entry
Journal Entry: Tue Apr 29, 2008, 7:01 PM
So my 30 days trial or whatever since I last applied to Shutterstock has been up for a while now . . . In fact, it may be almost 60 days now . . . they sent me an e-mail inviting me to resubmit stuff and everything, and I've got a lot of new stuff that I've been working on since I last submitted, but I guess I'm a coward or something . . .
Or at least, my confidence is gone, and I'm way critical of my work now. I mean, yeah, I can upload whatever I want on here, but I feel like nothing will be good enough for them. I've been shooting at ISO 100 (hence the flower pictures, it's where I have the most light) And I've even shot some RAW which I honestly haven't done as much as I should because I have kind of a small CF card and it's a pain to run out of room on it after less than 100 shots or so . . . Especially when I'm really in the groove and I've taken the time to set up and light something . . .
Anyway, I just don't even know if my Raw stuff is clean enough for them. Despite all my extra effort to avoid noise, when I check the channels on my work I still see some sort of noise or grain. My Husband says he thinks everything looks pretty dang clean and a little bit of grain or whatever is bound to happen, but I'm not so sure . . .
So. . . Do any of you know better than I? Is it normal for even RAW shots to have a little bit of noise when you view them at actual pixels and look through the channels, especially the blue channel?
I don't even know if anyone who watches me would know, but I guess it's worth a try anyway . . . I may have to ask someone who I watch, who I know submits to stock sites, 'cause until I'm sure that they aren't going to freak out, I'd rather keep my art to myself, and be sure before having to wait another 30 days or whatever . . .
Does any of this make sense to anyone?

People always ask me, "Are you a lover or a fighter?"
I answer "both" because I fight for love.

I mean by a picture, a beautiful romantic dream of something that never was, never will be, in a light better than
any light that ever shone, in a land no one can define or remember, only desire & the forms divinely beautiful.
