This was from my first drawing class in college, where I learned to use charcoal. I love charcoal! Even though it's kind of messy, it's so awesome! It's almost like combining molding clay with drawing because you can practically mold the charcoal on the paper into whatever you want.
P.s. I think my reference for this piece was a shampoo add from a magazine.
